Picture Day - Thursday, September 18, 2014

Underclass and Staff pictures will be taken on Thursday, September 18, 2014. Picture packets have been distributed to all students, however extra packets can be picked up in the Main Office.  Seniors who have not yet taken their photo for the yearbook will soon have an opportunity to have their photo taken on one of the following days:  Sept. 30th., Oct. 1st., & Oct. 2nd.
Order Your 2014-2015 MTHS Yearbook

There are three ways to order your 2014-2015 yearbook:
 
  1. Bring your order form on Picture Day for the lowest available price of $45. 
  2. Go online to yearbookforever.com -- select Metamora HS to order online and pay with a credit card.
  3. Click this link to download the order form and turn into the Main Office.
  • $45 for each yearbook ordered on or by September 18, 2014
  • $48 from September 19, 2014 to January 1, 2015
  • $51 from January. 1, 2015 until April 15, 2015 (which is the final deadline)
Note: Final deadline to order is April 15, 2015.
 

Advanced Ticket Sale for the Metamora-Washington Football Game

Pre-sold tickets for the Metamora-Washington football game will be sold from 9-3 this Wednesday (9/17) and Thursday (9/18) and from 9-12 this Friday (9/19) in the Main Office.  After these times tickets can still be purchased at the gates on Friday. Gates will open at 4:15.  Adults are $4 and senior citizens and non-MTHS students are $2.00. 

 
Metamora VS Washington - Goodwill Drive to Victory

During the week of September 15, MTHS has partnered with WMBD Channel 31 to participate in the Goodwill Drive to Victory Campaign.  All week long, donations to Goodwill can dropped off in collection boxes located at the entrances to MTHS and will be collected by Key Club members and placed in a POD.   We are competing against Washington High School, who we will play in a Mid-Illini Football Conference Game at 7:30 PM.  On Friday, the trailers will be picked up and weighed. The school that has collected the most weight will be announced during the 6:00 PM live news cast from Malone field.

Parent Teacher Conferences


Fall 2014 Parent/Teacher Conferences

Thursday, Oct 23 5 P.M.– 8:30 P.M.
Friday, Oct 24 8 A.M.– 12 P.M.

  • Once again MTHS is setting up Parent/Teacher Conferences through Skyward in an attempt to make this process as efficient and productive as possible for our parents. Parents may sign up for conferences by logging into their accounts and clicking on the link that says Parent Conferences. Conference signups will begin at 8 A.M. September 10th  until midnight Oct 22nd .  Please remember the conference times you want may already be scheduled if you wait too late to set up your conferences.
  • When signing up , please remember the following:
  • Conference times have a 10 minute running time.
  • Allow yourself enough time to transition from one conference to another.
  • Allow yourself enough time to park before you begin your first conference.
  • A tutorial on how to use Skyward to schedule Parent/Teacher Conferences can be found on your Skyward page. Click on District Links. A drop down appears / click on Scheduling Your Parent Teacher Conference Tutorial. You can print this off for your reference.
  • There will be print copies of this tutorial in the main office if you prefer a different choice over the digital download.

Seniors -- Josten's Taking Graduation Orders

A Jostens Rep will be at MTHS on Wednesday, Sept. 17th and Thursday, Sept. 18th both days before school through lunch hours to take all senior graduation orders. If possible: All last names starting with A-L order on Wednesday and last names starting with M-Z order on Thursday.  Please bring a $60 deposit or check your packet for 3 payment options.  Any student may place an order for a class ring as well.  Extra grad packets are available in the Main Office.  Please contact Jostens with any questions. 
Varsity Football Cheerleaders Offering Cheer Clinic


The MTHS Varsity Football Cheerleaders will be offering a cheer clinic on Saturday, October 4th for participants Pre-K through 5th grade.  Participants will perform in between the freshman and varsity football game on the 10th of October against Dunlap.  Registration deadline is September 27th.  Princess Cheer Camp Registration Form
