WE ARE STILL HAVING THE GIRLS BASKETBALL GAME TONIGHT AT LIMESTONE

WELCOME

Juniors and Parents/Guardians of Juniors:

In an attempt to help students prepare for the ACT exam, MTHS will be using ACT Online this semester. Students will have the opportunity to take a practice ACT exam. We hope this process will help alleviate test anxiety and maximize student performance on this important assessment. This testing will be administrated by our academic departments during the regular school day, with one important exception. Because the math test is sixty minutes long, and we have 45 minute periods, we are dividing the junior class into two sections to take the math portion of the test on our late start days. Juniors with last names starting with A-K are expected to come to school at 7:55 AM on February 10, 2010. Juniors with last names starting with L-Z are expected to come to school at 7:55 AM on February 24, 2010. Buses will run at their regularly scheduled times, or students can provide for their own transportation. Students will be assigned to report to a computer lab, and they are asked to bring a calculator, scratch paper, and pencils. We appreciate all of your efforts and the support you provide at home.
ATTENTION:
Several parents have contacted the school with concerns regarding a company called Dream Scholar Foundation (DSF).  This company is trying to sell CD’s to improve test scores.  Please be advised that our guidance department has no information regarding this company and does not endorse it.

This week's winner:

Students in Mr. Morrow's class act out a scene from the play Romeo and Juliet, Act I. Logan Doerr (left), decorated in kingly wear, complete with a leg lamp necklace, plays Lord Capulet while Blake Mason, who plays the Lord's servant, shines his shoes. Tegan Cisna, who plays Paris, discusses the marriage of Juliet (offstage) with Lord Capulet.
