ACT Review Classes offered at MTHS
†††† Do you need to prepare for for your college entrance exams?† If so, take an upcoming review class.† A twelve hour prep class, taught by Dustin Bevard, is scheduled for March 1st, 8th, 15th, & 22nd from 5 pm - 8 pm and a ZAPS ACT Seminar is March 5th from 9 am - 3 pm.† For registration information click here.
Regional College Fair at Bradley University - March 3, 2016
†††† The 2nd annual Peoria Area Regional College Fair will be Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6 pm - 7:30 pm at the Bradley University Renaissance Coliseum.† Nearly 100 college and university representatives will be present to speak with area high school students and their families.† Admission is free.† To see a list of participating colleges/universities, parking directions and other details click bradley.edu/collegefair.
Seniors - Waiving 2nd Semester Finals

Important ACT Update for Families of Junior Students
†††† The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) recently alerted our district that the status of the ACT testing this spring at Metamora Township High School is uncertain.† This means that, while the ACT will be available for students to take, it may not be offered at MTHS as in the past.† MTHS encourages students to register to take the ACT on one of the upcoming national testing dates.† Registration information about testing dates and locations can be found at www.actstudent.org.† Please note there is a registration fee for taking the ACT which families are responsible.† Please click the ACT Update Message and read it in its entirety.†††

Social Studies Department Releases AP Requirements
†††† The requirements for the AP US and World History classes is outlined in a message to students and parents.† Click AP US & World History Approval to view the entire message.† This class is designed to be a college level class that could earn a student 3 hours of credit at the college of choice if the AP exam is passed.† This class will also earn honors points towards the student's high school GPA.† Students registering for this class need to bring the completed form with them on their assigned registration date.

Blackout on the Blacktop - February 5, 2016
†††† All orders are available for pick-up during lunch or in the Main Office.† Wear your Blackout shirt on Friday, February 5, 2016 at school and during the Washington/Metamora basketball games.† All proceeds raised from shirt sales go to Easter Seals to offset the cost of providing services to families in Central Illinois.
MTHS Pre-School now Enrolling Students
