All senior Google accounts (email, Google docs, Goggle sheets, etc.) will be deleted at the end of the school year. Join your fellow seniors for breakfast on Friday, May 13th at 8:00 am in the S. Gym. Graduation practice will begin at 9:00 am. The all school picture will be taken following graduation practice at 11:00 am.

Young Adult Summer Reading Program - May 31st - July 16th
The Illinois Prairie District Public Library (IPDPL) is sponsoring a Summer Reading Program for Young Adults (6th grade through age 18). Summer Credit Recovery Program
If your child failed a required core class (Math, Science, English, Social Studies, or Health) they can attend summer school to make up one class. The 2016 Summer Credit Recovery Program runs from Friday, May 27 - Friday, June 24, 2016. The program meets Monday through Friday 8:45 am - 12 pm. Transportation will be provided with the exception of the first day. Applications must be turned in before Friday May 20, 2016 at 3:15 pm. 2016 Summer Credit Recovery Application
ACT Registration Deadline Approaching
As of February 29, 2016, the State of Illinois has yet to pass a budget, so MTHS recommends that all juniors sign up and take the ACT at a national test site. It is recommended that all students have at least one ACT score that contains writing. Please go to www.actstudent.org to register. Cost of the ACT is $39.50 and cost of the ACT with writing is $56.50. Deadline for the June 11th ACT test date is Friday, May 6th. Any questions, please contact Guidance.

Congratulations SkillsUSA for Job Well Done at State Competition!
Congratulations to the following students who competed at this year's Illinois SkillsUSA competition. This is a statewide competition where the top students compete using skills they've gained through the Career and Technical Education classes offered at MTHS. Thirteen MTHS students qualified in February to compete and 5 placed in the top three in their field:
